Mazie, a poor orphan girl, is mistreated by cruel farmer Slag and his wife for whom she works. When reform school runaway Adam arrives, he is put to work by Slag and also mistreated. Mazie and Adam fall in love, but are threatened by Slag. A new farmhand holds the key to their happiness and Mazie's past.—Anonymous
