A depressed young man, Yuki feels both inferior to his younger brother and the crushing weight of his widower father's expectations. After getting caught cheating on a university entrance exam, he chooses to run from his shame and finds himself in the middle of a wild mountain deep in Saga Prefecture. It is there that he meets a group of campers who have been living off-the-grid there for years. The members of this close-knit community often stage bare knuckle battles to increase their strength and sense of connection. While here, Yuki develops a strong bond with two other people: Aki, a young man born and raised in the mountains and Saku, a vulnerable young woman. However, their friendship is tested when they face a huge existential question: Do you believe in God? The argument leads to a bitter fight where Yuki is destroyed physically and emotionally. It is here at his lowest point that discovers a source of strength he never knew he possessed. "TSU" is a dialect in Saga prefecture, indicating scab. What a scab does? It protects a wound during healing and awaits for a new skin is born. It is a re-birth. And that's what our hero is going through. TSU is an impactful story complete with suspense, action, and a dash of fantasy that will linger in your heart and soul long after its final image.
