Trust delves into the life of Jason, a manager of a film marketing and distribution company based in Hollywood and owned by his cousin Jeremy. Jason's ultimate goal is to become a major producer of films in Hollywood. However, there are many roadblocks along the way, and Jason struggles to make personal relationships with producers, A-list stars, and writers which could propel his career to the next level. On his journey Jason gets caught up in the scene of women, gambling, and drugs. In addition, his cousin does not think he is ready to take his career to the next level. Nevertheless, the drama at work is also in his personal life as well, and he has a tumultuous relationship with his fiancé Marcella, and a group if friends that he can't always rely on. However, despite his distrust of his friends and colleagues they can't always trust Jason either.
