A countergirl at a San Diego soda shop has a lot of sailor "boyfriends", but her heart really belongs to a free-spirited gunner, who doesn't want to be tied down to any one woman.

While sailors are know far and wide as having a girl in every port, all of the sailors in the Pacific Fleet appear to have the same girl when in their home-port of San Diego; Miss Ruby Nolan, a counter-girl in a San Diego drugstore. She, in turn, is interested only in the stiff-as-a-board gunners-mate "Bull's-Eye" McCoy, who is not interested in her. She sets about to change his mind.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
