In 2011 Tropical Storm Sendong killed thousands of people and displaced hundreds of thousands on the island of Mindenao in the Philippines. This film documents the months following the devastation. Thousands of people are living in tents with no food and no running water. Children are sick and dying. One local pastor steps forward to donate his land so that new homes can be built on his property. They plan to build the homes with their own resources to help the victims.—Stephen Wollwerth
