Peter Shaver, a grieving conservative political candidate running for office in Oklahoma, is making his way to an interview where he is expected to respond publicly for the 1st time to personal tragedy and the recent events of gun violence in his hometown. Throughout the day gun violence trauma triggers flashbacks to the recent events that lead to this point in his life and his political campaign.
