This is a sad story of 3 brothers crossing each other paths with different ways of life. Jang brothers were still so young when their father was murdered by the mine owner and his gangster. These 3 brothers grew up separately when the eldest Jang Dong Soo (Lee Bum Soo) left his 2 younger brothers in orphanage struggling to make living on his own and his holding grudge toward his father's killers and became police officer vow for revenge. The 2nd brother is Jang Dong choel/Hoe Yeong Dal (Kim Jae Joong) the trash is what people in his town called him because his way of living, he was having affair with married woman even became a bully with his friends but deep in his heart he always wondered of his origin since he lost his memory when he was a child. The 3rd brother is Jang Dong Woo/Yoon Yang Ha adopted in a rich family he never feel love and care from his foster father Chairman Yoon, instead he had suicide attempts and panic disorder but he camouflage it perfectly like a rich heir and he was trying hard to look great to be accepted by his adopted father since the adoption can be nullified all the time whenever his foster father decide to, his ambition to be the best leader of his company and his cunning ways of running the company what makes him became the enemy of his brothers neither know that they are brothers. Heo Yong Dal met this girl and wanted to change his life to be a better life but by faith Yoon Yang Ha also fell for the same girl but when Oh Jung Hee (Baek jin Hee) decided to choose Yong Dal the little brother with his cunning way put him in jail made feud between 2 of them became stronger.
