Young Jim Hawkins and his older friends - Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney - accidentally become holders of the card of Captain Flint, which listed the coordinates of the island in the Atlantic Ocean, where the treasures of the famous pirate's hidden. On the schooner "Hispaniola" they begin a dangerous journey to the distant island, not realizing that with them went, pretending to be ship's cook, John Silver - a professional pirate with lots of experience.
