A sea creature is terrorizing a small Gulf coast town. The creature is a mutation from the Deep Water Horizon's oil spill in the Gulf. But it's not the only thing that's mutating.

Transmutation is a story snatched from the headlines. But this story has a twist. The oil spill causes some to transmute into something other than human. In Gautier, Mississippi people are coming up dead. The killings all point to this strange creature that has been spotted in and around town.
