Soriba is from a village near Dakar. One day, he left to study cinema in Paris. He hopes to find Issa, his childhood friend, whom he has not heard from for seven years.

Soriba Samb, 35, film technician, has never left Senegal. He left to work in a large Parisian cinema laboratory. He therefore leaves his mother, his sister and his wife. In Paris, he meets Marie with whom he can experience a brief and beautiful story; he finds his friend Issa, transformed, who has become a pimp and does not want to return to Dakar, seeing no future for Africa.
