Masoom is a story of Zoya "Alia Khan Dar" who took took crusade against child abusers. The movie is inspired from true incidents.

Zoya Ali Khan, an educated Muslim girl, is compelled by her parents to marry her uneducated cousin against her will. Her husband Zian Ali is in the business of movie piracy and does all types of wrong deeds. Zian's 9 years old nephew Azhar, who is the son of her slain sister, resides with them too. Zian beats him and Zoya regularly. The financial condition of their house compels Zoya to accept the job of a babysitter for Prachi. Prachi's mother is a widow and working woman. She is in love with a struggling actor. One day he intends to molest small kid Prachi but Zoya saves her.
