A sensitive portrayal of Khuram, as his life spirals out of control. Failing to climb the career ladder after graduation, Khuram in love with a drug user, drifts into an underworld of drinking and partying, under the disapproval and scrutiny of his father. Dilbagh, a strict traditionalist and disciplinarian has high expectations of his son. The story unravels as we follow his journey, a desperate man on a mission to rescue his son from the squalid inner city drug dens of Birmingham where life has no value and death maybe just a needle away. As Khuram sinks further into his own personal hell, we witness his dreamlike trips through his mind's eye. The nostalgia of Bollywood songs pulls his heart into a superficial world of his childhood memories. Distorted highs alternate with hallucinations of a haunting demonic figure.
