A pretty mermaid is happy when she receives a magic mirror in the post from a mailmaid. She taps on the mirror several times and is transported through a fairy's mirror into a forest. The fairy, angry that her makeup has been ruined, won't let the mermaid use her mirror to return, forcing the sea creature to waddle across a busy highway in search of water. She stumbles upon a swimming pool, where she finds another magic mirror which teleports her home.—David Bassler
