"Thrillerama" was a Saturday evening program that would air at 10:15pm showing science fiction monster movies. The show was not hosted. Beginning of the End (1957) was the first movie aired on Thrillerama, April 29, 1961. In 1964 Thrillerama was presented back-to-back with Midnight Thrillerama to offer double features. In 1966 WNBQ-TV channel 5 (later changed to WMAQ-TV) dropped the older movies in its library. As a result Thrillerama was fazed out.—Kenneth Kwilinski
