In a Nordic realm, Cinderella is the slavish maid to her stepmother and two -sisters, but also a gifted forest huntress, and is bleed with three magical wishes, notably to conjure perfect outfits. The while town is excited when the royal couple passes with their sole heir. The prince isn't interested in anything relating to court or politics, but loves riding off with his courtier buddies to hunt. He's impressed by anonymous Cinderella hunting by bow, who teases impudently and leaves unidentified. Later the king sends messengers to invite all notable families to a grand court ball, where the unwilling prince is ordered finally to choose a bride, or his father will. Cinderella isn't supposed to go, 'punished' for failing impossible chores, but manages to get there and sweep off the prince, even before he recognizes her, and comes looking the night with the slipper she lost.—KGF Vissers
