One face merges into the next. The thread that connects the worlds of the two protagonists, Niki and Lefteris, is memory, violence and hope.

A fantasy thriller, where one face merges into the next. The thread that connects the worlds of the two protagonists, Niki and Lefteris, is memory, violence and a polemic of hope. A 'solo' performance in many respects by The Boy (director, writer, art director, composer) and his actress Sofia Kokkali, Nima challenges the values of contemporary society, with a unique cinematic articulation.

In the heart of a dystopian Greece, Niki, an active political revolutionary, finds herself torn between her unwavering beliefs to the cause and the revolution, and her only son, Lefteris. As a result, the neglected boy inherits a dark past and an equally bleak future. Then, one day, unforeseen complications cut the invisible psychological umbilical cord that connects the mother and her son. Now, more and more, Niki's struggle for her principles turns into an impenetrable prison, trapping her own boy. Has Lefteris got what it takes to transcend and earn his freedom?—Nick Riganas
