This film is a drama that depicts a group of urban educators from MLK High School in the New Jersey town of Harpstown. Their goal is to produce change in the education system and keep their personal lives together at the same time.

Mrs. Perdue-Valentine is a principal at the once low performing MLK Community High School, and she is questioned for masterminding a National cheating scandal.
