Created for Thomas Bernhard's 80th birthday. Filmmaker Norbert Beilharz went looking for traces in Salzburg, Ohlsdorf and Vienna. Companions, friends and contemporary witnesses, some of whom have never spoken publicly about Bernhard, provide information: The opera singer Catarina Ligendza, who sang Isolde or Brünnhilde in Bayreuth. The fellow student Klaus Gmeiner.The innkeeper Sepp Fürtbauer and the drawing teacher Gerhard Weigel, who accompanied Bernhard's walks for decades.
