This Thing Called Hip Hop is an indie 4K film that pays tribute to Purple Rain, Krush Groove and Mo' Better Blues. Told through a series of podcasts covering a major hip hop competition, the film explores the internal battles of a rising rap artist who is struggle between doing what's best for her career or doing what's best for her love life.
