Up and coming artist René Magritte travels to London for the "Exposition Internationale du Surréalisme", which takes place on the estate of the exuberant Lord James. After several fellow artists fall victim to a mysterious murderer, Scotland Yard turns up and no one is allowed to leave the premises.
