Thieves is an action/comedy series featuring a highly antagonistic pair of professional thieves. Johnny and Rita are both in their early to mid- twenties, and complete opposites. When they are set up by the government, and forced to serve their country rather than their jail sentences, the part that rankles most is that they have to work together. Yet somehow, Johnny's old-world charm and Rita's modern-day brass are the perfect match for each other, and the fact that they themselves don't realise it makes the air crackle with sexual tension.—Andi Horton
