In a way, there is a strange and effective touch of a superhero film in this work by Salkic, his longest film till date. Something reminiscing the origins of the mythological Santa Claus. The younger man is born out of the sea water. He is shivering. He needs warmth. He shall find it and with it he shall suddenly become old. Unrecognizable to himself, he shall experience the many problems currently facing the elderly: isolation, bodily deterioration, alienation, loneliness and mental dissolution, forgotten by the society he shall scream for help, unheard. Our Young Santa Claus shall miss his home, he shall want to go back to the place where he was born. He shall want to go back home.
