Athena Cockburn suffers from heavy migraines and lost her vim and vigor. Her boyfriend, Jacob York, has enough of the stagnating sex life with her and comes up with the brilliant idea to trick her into taking a fake pill to treat her migraines. The caveat of this placebo pill however is the extreme side effect: an exploding libido! His plan works out but the initial fun turns quickly into frustration when he can't keep up with her anymore.

Powerless, spiritless, and troubled with daily migraines, Athena Cockburn, a theoretically good looking chick in her end 20s, struggles as a barista in a coffee shop during the day and takes care of her sick mother, Barbara Cockburn, in the evening. Jacob York, hipster in his end 20s, has enough of the stagnating sex life with his girlfriend, Athena, and comes up with the brilliant idea to trick her into taking a new pill to treat her migraines. He convinces his friend Max Rademaker, who is a doctor, to prescribe her this wonder drug, which in reality is only a placebo. The caveat of this new drug however is the extreme side effects: high energy, restlessness and... an exploding libido, a constant lust for sex. Jacob is in heaven after Athena starts taking the pill, as her insatiable lust is every man's dream. However, soon the dream becomes a nightmare, when he can't keep up with her anymore.
