A man is dumped by his wife of ten years just before their week-long anniversary celebration. Not wanting the week to go to waste, he decides to celebrate himself, instead.

THE WEEK is the story of Dick Romans - a washed up TV host whose wife leaves him the day before their week-long ten year anniversary celebration in wine country. Dick finds himself alone with his thoughts, his dog, a bunch of catered food and a ton of booze. So he decides to do all of the events he had planned for the week-long celebration - by himself. And the week becomes Dick's personal vision quest, filled with odd characters, awkward romance, and some overdue self examination. What was supposed to be a celebration of the love of two people turns out to be a journey of discovery for one complicated guy.—Jon Gunn
