"The Watch List" features a cast of all Middle Eastern-American comedians performing stand up and sketchcomedy. The show first appeared on Comedy Central's Internetchannel "Motherload" in January 2007 where it still can be viewed. It was the first show ever released by a major American entertainment companyto star all Middle Eastern-American performers. Due to its critical acclaim and popularity on its Internet channel,Comedy Central ordered a pilot for a possible TV series which was shot in August 2007. The best known of the twelve episodes of the Internet show include Dean Obeidallah's "Arabs are the new Blacks," Maz Jobrani's "Iranian President in High," and Joe Derosa's"Arab Teen Wolf."
