Callie, an 8 year old little girl, parents are shot by an intruder. She is forced into foster care and traps herself into living in her own little world. Her new foster home has many animals. However, she doesn't care for any of them. Callie and her foster mom goes to a nearby farm, here Callie runs into this huge, wild, untamed Palomino horse. Callie bonds with the horse right off.
