Synopsis

The Two Leaders series,The first part of this historical drama portrays the life of the activists Suleyman al-Baruni and Bashir Saadawi from 1887 to 1923 through a distinct and new storytelling that is being narrated by the character of Zaima al-Baruni, Suleyman al-Baruni's daughter. She brings back the most remarkable events of both of the leaders activism, along with the other leaders who fought against the Italian invasion and contributed to uniting the opinions of people against colonization in order to achieve Libya's full independence and join its three districts Barga, Tripoli and Fezan under the same flag;

The relied on their knowledge, experience and political awareness and insight as well as publicizing and promoting the Libyan cause in all parts of the world and travelling to different countries in order to expose the horrendous crimes the Italian authorities practiced against Libyans.

The events of the series goes through their private lives and their fight against the Italian colonization during several important moments that took place in Libya and abroad.
