Synopsis

Contains SPOILERS!

This movie starts at the ski resort where Jenna (Gillian Zinser), Ethan (Reid Ewing), Liam (Ricky Mabe), and Dante (Nick Thurston) were staying for spring break. As they get up and get ready to leave Ethan asks Jenna if she would like to join him in the shower and Jenna declines. Dante asks why she puts up with him and Jenna insisted that he's not so bad. Dante and Jenna share a glance and then in goes to them packing up the car. Liam tries to sneak a call to his mom to tell her that they are leaving but before he can hang up Ethan comes into the backseat and laughs at him for calling his mom.

They start smoking marijuana causing Liam to cough and Dante comments with a laugh that it's probably not good for him because of his asthma. Suddenly they see/hear a police officer behind them and frantically try to hide the smell of the joint. Jenna lowers her top so you can see more of her cleavage to try and influence the officer. The officer checks their documents and asks where they are going. Dante tells him that they are heading home from skiing and the officer informs them that they need to have chains on their tires and that he could write them a ticket. They agree that at the gas station coming up they will put on the chains and the officer agrees not to give them a ticket. The officer starts to leave but then comments to Jenna that he appreciated the show but it wasn't necessary and the boys all laugh.

At the gas station they discover that they don't have chains and the gas station doesn't sell any but gave them directions of a way to sneak to the highway without being caught by the officers. They pretend that they are getting the chains from the back as the officers drive by to check on them. They continue driving down the road and turn onto a much less plowed sideroad. Quickly after turning onto the road Dante looses control of the vehicle and the SUV slides of the side of the road. They all appear to be knocked unconscious briefly and we see the avalanche of snow bury the vehicle.

Dante wakes up and trys to wake up Jenna and appears to be really concerned about her. She slowly wakes up and looks around. Ethan shrieks in the backseat, he hurt his arm in the crash because he didn't have time to get his seatbelt on. Jenna attempts to put his arm in place but fails causing Ethan more pain, Dante trys next and succeeds. Liam meanwhile takes many inhales of his puffer as he trys to calm down. Jenna gives Ethan two painkillers and then they notice that they are buried. They try to turn on the vehicle and roll down the windows but realize that it is no use.

They all begin to panic when Liam tells them that they all need to calm down because they have a limited supply of oxygen and that they need to conserve it for as long as they can. He comments that his mom will be expecting him home and when they don't arrive she will alert the police. It shows his mom falling asleep in her house cigarette in hand with the soup boiling on the stove. They sit in silence until Ethan suggests that they play a "truth game" he insists that they might as well because they are all going to die. Dante says that they won't die but then tells Ethan since it was his idea he should go first.

Ethan tells a story about how he would steal his sister's underwear from her drawer when no one was home and hold it in his hand and imagine her wearing it. Everyone laughs and says that it's his sister and that's disgusting. Liam asks if she knew and Ethan says that if she did she would think he's a psycho. Ethan says that his sister is hot, and that they all met her at Christmas and if any of them had the chance they would do her in a second. They all ponder this for a second and then Dante turns to Jenna and she says "what? she's hot."

Ethan turns to Liam and tells him it's his turn now. Liam explains that his dad died when he was sixteen and it made him really sad, but mostly he couldn't bare seeing his mom so sad. He feigned illness and skipped his father's funeral and explained that his mom needed him and he was weak. He says that he let his dad down. Dante tells him that his dad would have forgiven him.

Ethan laughs and now it's Dante's turn. Dante says that he stole $50 from his younger brother to buy his new car stereo. Ethan laughs at him and makes fun of him saying the story isn't true and "big deal". Dante explains that his brother was saving up for a new bike and worked odd jobs to get enough money. When he thought he had enough he counted and realized he was $50 short and recounted thinking it was a mistake. Dante felt like his brother knew but never confronted him about it. Dante felt like he lost his brothers respect and that his brother no longer looked up to him.

Dante tells Jenna it is her turn and she tells a story about 3 girls who picked on her non stop and how she snapped and attacked the "queen bee". She was expelled from school for the incident. They boys ask why did the other girls have against her. Jenna explained that there was a rumor about her, or rather a secret that got out. Before she can tell the secret suddenly there is a cracking sound as the windshield begins to crack under the pressure of the snow.

They watch in horror as it cracks a few more times but stops. After they determine that it wasn't going to cave in on them yet the boys ask what her secret was. She explains that she had sex with one of her teachers in school on his desk. Dante asked her how long it went on for and she explains that it wasn't that long and that it got pretty intense. Somehow the rumor started floating around and Jenna says she just need to get away.

It is now Ethan's turn again. When he was 10 and a pioneer ranger of some kind he and another boy were in the woods and Ethan pushed him into a ditch after the boy found an arrowhead. He held a rock above the boy as if to smash him with it but didn't not. He then left the boy and pretended to not know where he was. They had a search party for him and didn't find him until morning. Ethan laughs as he says that the boy never told on him. Liam exclaims that he was obviously scared. Ethan thinks out loud wondering what would have happened if he killed the boy. Dante tells him "you would go to juvie" and Ethan says "only if I got caught" and Dante replies "you would".

Ethan scoffs at that but it's Liam's turn again. He admits that he's a virgin and becomes very embarrassed. Ethan laughs at him and asks if he's gotten anything at all and Liam doesn't respond giving an indication of no. Ethan laughs again and say "poor you!" Dante tells him sex isn't a big deal. Liam responds that at least they have all had sex.

It is Dante's turn again but says he doesn't have anything else to say. Jenna asks him if he has any feelings he wants to reveal. Dante says no. Ethan says are you sure there's not a special picture in your wallet you want to talk about? Dante, angrier says no and to drop it. Jenna and Ethan pester him saying that his first secret wasn't even a big deal and that he shoudln't be able to back out of the game. Ethan and Dante start yelling and Liam tells them to stop it. He tells Ethan to leave Dante alone, that if he doesn't want to share he shouldn't have to. Liam says that he regrets sharing anything in the first place and that he wishs he didn't tell them he's a virgin.

Liam becomes very depressed looking and Jenna tells him to look at her. After asking again Liam does and Jenna asks him if he was telling the truth about the virgin thing. He asks her why would he lie about something like that? Jenna looks at Dante and then back to Liam and asks him if he would like to have sex with her. Liam tells her she doesn't have to do that and Ethan asks Dante what he thinks. Dante looks obviously distressed but says that Jenna can make her own decisions. Jenna explains that the sex means nothing to her and wants Liam to understand that. She climbs on top of him and using a blanket to cover themselves they undress their lower halves to a certain extent. Liam trys to kiss her but she tells him no. She has to keep telling him to relax and as they get comfortable she lets him touch her chest.

They finish having sex (they don't show anything) And Dante looks extremely agitated and Ethan is almost giddy having watched the whole thing from beside them in the backseat. Ethan tells Dante that he should have watched and that it was great. He asks Jenna if he can have pity sex too because he hurt his arm. Jenna looks ashamed and glares at him.

Dante suddenly explodes with rage yelling at Liam saying that he would have expected this from Ethan but not from him. Dante says that he can't believe that Liam just had sex with the woman he loves in front of him. Jenna starts crying and looks at Dante shocked. Jenna asks Dante "why didn't you say anything? Why didn't you stop me?" Dante yells that he shouldn't have to. Liam tells Dante that he could punch him in the face if he wants but Dante explains that he doesn't think he could stop and that he would kill him.

Liam begins to have trouble breathing and trys to inhale from his puffer but it is empty. Liam in between short breaths explains that he has and backup puffer and Ethan laughs at him but Jenna and Dante look worried and begin to search the vehicle for it. Dante tells Ethan to look in the trunk area and eventually joins him in looking back there as well. Jenna tries to keep Liam awake but he becomes very pale and his breaths are fading. Ethan locates the second puffer while Dante is looking away frantically looking through bags and quietly puts it in his own pocket. Jenna jumps in the trunk area as Ethan rolls to the backseat again and tells Liam to stay awake.

Liam falls unconscious and Ethan tells the others that he has stopped breathing. Dante refuses to stop searching insisting it has to be here somewhere. Ethan tells him it's too late, he's gone. Jenna jumps back over the seat asking if anyone knows CPR and attempts to revive Liam. Ethan hugs her from behind comforting her as she crys. Dante stops searching and sits sadly in the trunk looking at Liam's lifeless body.

Liam's mom wakes up to the smoke detector going off and calls for Liam. She soon realizes that he's not home and knows something is wrong. She calls the police and the same officers who pulled the group over earlier recognize the decription of 4 kids coming back from a ski resort and head out to look for them.

Back in the vehicle, Ethan slowly shifts his hand to hold Jenna's boob and she pushs him away disgusted. Jenna asks what he is doing and Ethan says "I'm trying to comfort you." Jenna says "It looks more like you are trying to comfort yourself." Ethan starts coming towards her, grabbing at her and makes a comment about already having sex with Liam and it's his turn. Jenna hits him away but he pushs her into the front seat as she struggles. Jenna hits him in his injured arm and pushing past Ethan as Dante jumps on him yelling at Ethan and holding him back.

Ethan makes a comment about Dante pushing Liam over the edge. Dante yells back and Ethan steals Dante's wallet and throws it to Jenna who made her way into the trunk during the scuffle and tells her to look at the picture in it. Dante tells her no and that she wouldn't understand but she looks anyway. Jenna looks at Dante angrily and Dante tells her that Ethan gave it to him. Jenna looks at Ethan in confusion.

Ethan asks her if she remembers that party that he brought her to. He explains that he met some frat boys who roofied her drink but that he didn't find out until afterwards. They then took her upstairs and took pictures of her on the bed. The frat boys then kicked him out and locked the door so he left. Jenna says that she remembers that morning and waking up feeling like she had been in a car accident. She says that she woke up in her dorm though. Ethan explains that he came back to the party later and saw that they were gone and took her back to the dorm. Ethan said that he decided to give the picture to Dante and used it to pretend that he and Jenna slept together instead.

Jenna looks shocked and angry and Dante yells at Ethan how could he do that to her, and just leave her there. Jenna in turn yells at Dante about keeping the photo in his wallet and jumps over the seat at him. Dante attacks Ethan punching him repeatedly in the face causing the vehicle to shake a little and the window to begin cracking again. As they move, the puffer in Ethan's pocket slips out. Jenna yells at them to stop moving because the windshield is going to break.

The boys break apart and Jenna notices the puffer near Ethan's pocket. She points it out and Ethan pretends that it was the original puffer. Dante angrily holds up the original puffer and yells at him for having it the second one this whole time. Ethan explains tht Liam was the weak one and he was stealing all his air. Dante asks him "oh are we stealing your air too? You going to kill us like you almost did that kid" Ethan tells him not to throw his secrets back in his face when Dante not telling his caused all this mess.

Outside the vehicle a man discovers a snowboard sticking out of the snow and gets on the radio to inform the police.

The light starts flickering and the vehicle groans under the weight of the snow. They are starting to breath much heavier. Dante decides that they need to dig their way out and that he doesnt think anyone is coming for them. He asks Jenna to come with him and she agrees. Ethan tells them that its a bad idea, and Dante tells him that he wasn't looking for Ethan's opinion. Dante and Jenna get on their snow gear and try to start the car to open the power windows but the battery is dead from the lights inside the car running the whole time.

Dante and Jenna kick the window open and Dante begins to dig and tunnel outside the vehicle using the windshield scraper. Dante gets it large enough so that Jenna can fit beside him and help him dig but before they go Ethan asks them if they are just going to leave him there to die. They both look at him coldly and leave the vehicle.

Ethan looks after them as the light goes out. Ethans trys calling to them but they can't hear him or ignore him and he flicks his lighter on. The windshield begins to crack again but much louder and faster. Ethan says "oh no, not yet" and trys to begin the Lord's Prayer but can't remember the words. Terrified he watches as the windshield breaks and snow flows in crushing him undoubtly off screen.

In the tunnel Jenna and Dante are trying to dig thenselves out and they stop and look at each other. Jenna asks him if he could still love her. Dante looks surprised and asks her if she could still love him. They smile at each other and embrace in the snow and kiss. Back outside, a search team has been assembled and are trying to dig them out. One of the workers uncovers Dante and Jenna dead, still wrapped in an embrace frozen in the snow.
