Travel nurses are highly qualified nurses who travel from one place to another to provide the needed nursing care in various cities. Ayumi Nasuda is a nurse practitioner who worked in the U.S., assisting doctors in the operating room. However, for some reason, he returns to Japan to work at Amano General Medical Center. Shizuka Kuki is a fellow nurse who started working at the medical center around the same time as Ayumi.
