Derick and Ashanti are a young couple who seem genuinely in love with each other.Derick is finishing up law school ; Ashanti is an x stripper who is trying to find herself inLos Angeles.Derick leaves for work one night and decides to have his friend Curtis drop off someweed at his apartment. Ashanti is there to receive the weed but she gets more than justthe drugs. Curtis starts to flirt with Ashanti which leads to them having a steamy onenight stand. Ashanti felt bad and was ready to end the affair but Curtis was everythingShe wanted and found him too hard to resist.Derick notices the awkwardness in the relationship almost immediately, and hissuspicions are further aroused when he catches Curtis outside his house unannounced.Finally he pretends to go to work and waits and watches Curtis go into his apartmentlate at night. After seeing Ashanti have sex with Curtis through the window he just sitsthere and does nothing.Derick finally has enough courage to confront Curtis at his apartment, and during thediscussion that follows, he loses his composure and hits Curtis over the head, killinghim. He then wraps Curtis; body in a blanket, wipes and cleanses everything he hastouched. He loads the blanket with Curtis body into the trunk of his car, and laterdumps it downtown in a dark alley.Now it is Ashanti who senses awkwardness in their relationship. Cops visit Derick'sapartment to investigate Curtis disappearance, because they found out Ashanti was thelast person to call Derick. The cops easily pick up the inconsistencies in her story andbegin to dig deeper. After Ashanti sees the text message in Derick's phone about theaffair, the two finally come clean with each other. Ashanti meets with her sister Jasmineto discuss how she was going to get away from Derick.Derick comes up with a plan to put the blame on Ashanti x boyfriend Half Ounce whorecently fired a gun at Curtis at a liquor store over an altercation. Derick offers thisinformation up to the directives which leads to the arrest of Half Ounce for the murder.Derick who seem to be free of the crime makes his way back to the place where hedropped the body to remove the blanket he raped Curtis in to dispose of any DNA thatcould tie him to the murder. The movie ends with Derick being shot and killed byAshanti's sister who is taking the plan too far.
