A young couple encounter a strange situation in an apartment

A young couple , new to a city, find a very posh apartment. They cannot afford the rent but the property consultant offers them a deal in lieu of paying only 1/4th of the rent . The deal is very strange but then considering the posh, fully furnished apartment, the husband accepts the deal, in spite of reservations of the wife. A young couple, out looking for an apartment, is offered a posh apartment, fully furnished at an almost next to nothing rent. There is only one condition imposed by the Property consultant. The condition is that, the land lady's son, who is an aspiring writer, would come occasionally and spend weekends at the house. The young couple has to take care of his food. Reluctantly, the husband agrees, against the wife's wishes as the house on offer is too tempting to resist. Within a couple of days, the wife realizes that all is not well with the apartment.—Mohan Menon
