In this lost adaptation of the 1903 novel, Roy Glennister and Cherry Malotte fight against crooked politicians to keep a gold mine.

Roy Glennister and his partner are victimized by a crooked political plot which involves the possession of gold mines in Alaska. Alex McNamara (Nome's political boss) and Judge Stillman unite in robbing the owners by jumping their claims. Roy has befriended Helen Chester, Stillman's niece, but believes she is an accomplice. He saves Stillman from hanging, however, but Helen, now suspicious of her uncle, investigates. She is saved from a compromising situation by her brother and McNamara gets his full dues from the fists of Glennister.—Moving Picture World, July 7,1923
