During a violent storm in the Victorian Highlands, a mother (Goodall) tells her frightened daughter (Daemion) a fable about a great silver brumby who must find its place among its kind, while one man (Crowe), living in the wilderness, is determined to capture the brumby and tame it. Based on Elyne Mitchell's novel of the same name.
