"When sightings of the notorious monster The Shug resurface, a father must team up with unlikely allies to rescue his daughter and put an end to its terror in the British countryside."

In the summer of 2023, sightings of the notorious creature known as The Shug have resurfaced in the British countryside. John, an alcoholic and former survivor of an attack from this creature when he was a teenager, teams up with journalist Alice Bowmer and paranormal researcher The Hobbo Adventurer to hunt down the creature. When John's daughter, Emily, goes missing on a camping trip for her 16th birthday, he is forced to confront his fear and search for her in The Shug's territory. When John discovers Emily's phone at a blood stained camp site, John discovers that she is still alive and manages to rescue her from the clutches of the beast. To finish the nightmare once and for all, John must find a way to kill The Shug and put an end to its reign of terror.
