This anthology film traces one pair of silver shoes from present day back to the 1930s, when they were made. Along the way, we meet all of the women who owned them -- a 2017 actress (Angelic Berry), an early-2000s woman named Carol diagnosed with cancer (Z. Delisa Richardson), a 1990s waitress at a Christmas party, a politician, a stoner, and eventually, the manufacturer of shoes -- Delores (Tammy Duensing), a woman who meets a mysterious foreigner (Cody Heuer) on a train leaving California.—Dan Steadman
