The feature-length version of the mini-series documenting the history of one unique Jewish family, the Shealtiels and their ancestors, from Medieval Spain to the present.
After the death of his mother, Ron Shealtiel, a Holocaust child survivor in Holland, found a box of photographs that she had saved. For Ron, it opens the door to almost 900 years of the Shealtiel family history. He traces the family's fascinating history from the alleys of medieval Spain to a 1997 reunion which brought together more than 500 family households from 27 countries. The story of the Shealtiel family is also the saga of the Jewish diaspora in the last millennium.—Jewish Film Archive Online
