An underground group of women assassins who target those rapists who manage to avoid legal consequences for their actions. A fictional story, with true stories mixed in.
The story is about an underground organization of women assassins (called "La Guerre"), which targets those rapists who manage to avoid legal consequences for their actions. In the main scene, one of the assassins confronts a man in a restaurant, whom the organization has been studying. After an interval of pretending to be interested in him, she then clues him in about the organization, and tells him that if he doesn't change his ways, the organization would "take him out," most likely using a scarf as the murder weapon. (She says "Guns are noisy, messy, and attract an awful lot of attention.") Although the story is fiction, documented true stories are worked in (through narrated illustrations) involving women successfully fighting back in physically threatening situations. There is an unstated implication that the main story might be true after all, with nobody knowing.
