A priest kills a member of a drug peddling organization to rescue a little girl, a murder he deems justified in the eyes of God and after being sent to prison, begins a bloody crusade against the twisted world of organized crime.
Father Sahak is a priest beloved by his community. One night, in an attempt to save a young girl, he kills her pursuer. He discovers, that the girl was used as a drug peddler and the man he killed worked for a criminal organization profiting off the drug trade in the country. Sent to prison for his crimes, Father Sahak quickly garners respect among his cellmates, who join, what he believes to be, his holy crusade to rid the country of drugs. In his quest to fight against the underground world of organized crime, Father Sahak creates a name for himself and becomes known as "The Saint". On the other side of this war is Hovik, an influential figure in the Armenian world of organized crime. After an almost-fatal shootout left him paralyzed, he is prepared to sacrifice everything to maintain a grip over the smuggling routes that bring drugs into his country. While this is going on, a desperate government agent is doing everything he can to maintain some semblance of order as the country's criminal organizations erupt into an all-out war for attrition, with Father Sahak wreaking havoc on anything and anyone that gets in the way of his goal.—Alex Mikaelian
