Based in fact, two Kentucky brothers go to work for Cincinnati's infamous bootlegger, George Remus, in the original "Sin City" of Newport, KY.

When two Kentucky brothers leave the hills of Eastern Kentucky for the glamour of Jazz Age casinos across the river from Cincinnati, they find work with infamous bootlegger George Remus. In the midst of their struggle to find good work, one of the brothers falls in love with a local, bar girl.
