Synopsis

Lenore is an orphan raised on a diet of Edgar Allen Poe. She considers the raven to be her protector. She is visited by Poe every night in her dreams. She is also visited every night by a shaved-head man she calls Skinner. As a child, she believes that she will some day kill Skinner. She is deeply disturbed by her dreams. She grows increasingly detached from life and pre-occupied by death. As a young adult, she is apparently raped by Skinner, after which she kills him and disposes of the body. As revenge, Skinner begins killing those around her. He disposes of the bodies, leaving Lenore puzzled as to why her friends are disappearing.
