THE PRISONAIRES documents the story of five young black men who formed a doo-wop band while incarcerated in the Tennessee State Prison in the 1950s. The Prisonaires, though relatively unknown today, had an impact on the launch of the legendary SUN RECORDS, and the genesis or the King of Rock-n-Roll, Elvis Presley.
