It is the second chapter of "The Postcard Killings", movie that had a huge success in US this year. The film follows Jacob Kanon, a seasoned detective from New York, as he embarks on a desperate journey across Europe to rescue his wife, Valerie, who has been abducted in Florence by the cunning and vengeful Marina Haysmith. Jacob follows a trail of cryptic postcards, through Madrid and its El Prado, London and the National Gallery, Florence and the Uffizi, and each clue takes him closer to his goal. The film intertwines past traumas with present dangers, creating a complex narrative filled with psychological depth, suspense, and intense confrontations.
