Fang Hongan (Christopher Ming-Shun Lee) is the chief project superintendent for the construction of drilling platforms. With his assistant, Cai Zhenya (Dawn Yeoh), he goes to Brazil to take part in the assembly of a super-grade drilling platform. An enthusiastic worker, Zhenya tries to accede to all work demands by Hongan, no matter how unattainable. She falls for him over time when she realises his effort to mould her, but Hongan is still pining for his dead fiancée. Tianjun (Yuwu Qi) is also part of a crew for drilling platform construction and has been working in Brazil for two years. While Zhenya dislikes him after a misunderstanding between them, he finds Zhenya rather silly and cute, and eventually falls for her. On the other hand, Xiaoyang (Jeanette Aw) is secretly in love with Tianjun, while Zhihang (Elvin Ng), Zhenya's brother, holds a touch for her since young.
