Girl is held at mercy of gang of crooks, her only friend being a half-wit. A murder is committed and blame shifted to the girl. The half-wit has seen it but cannot remember. When he is cured, his testimony frees the girl.

Margery is kidnapped and abused by Dan, ex-convict. Dan turns spoils over to bank cashier who is crooked. Margery's only friend Tim, a crippled half-wit, sees bank cashier and Dan fight over loot, in which Dan is stabbed. Margery is accused of crime but Dave, her sweetheart, comes to her rescue and after throwing cashier over cliff, witnesses healing of little Tim.
