Part documentary, part personal essay, this experimental film combines archive imagery with the striking wintry landscapes of Alaska to tell the story of immigrant experience coming into the UK from 1960 onwards.
This film is not a movie it is an experience.It takes you on a subconscious journey of personal change. Whilst it is focused on migration it can be paralleled to any personal experience or journey. Be warned you have to be in the right mood and space. Do not rationalise the content, do not consciously watch the film, just let the pictures, poems and music enter you subconscious. It is like a wave-upon-wave and layer on layer of inspirations.
