"The Night Creatures Show" was a hosted horror movie show with Eugene Weingand as "Peter Lorre Jr." presenting horror movies for KTVV, Channel 36, Austin, Texas between 1976-1977. Because of Weingand's passing resemblance to Peter Lorre he began calling himself Peter Lorie Jr. and in 1963 he applied to have his name legally changed to Peter Lorie Jr. but the famous actor objected, as did American International Pictures, which had Lorre under contract.—The Professor
