Chaos and drama ensue as Mark Reed's antics push everyone to their limits; the causes of the issues are always more complex than they initially appear.
Time and time again, Mark Reed's self-centered actions and attention-seeking nature cause him to disrupt the lives of his friends and family. Inevitably, everyone reaches their limit with him, and the series follows him as he navigates the complex and often misunderstood situations that contribute to these consequences.
In this story driven drama-comedy cartoon, teenager Mark Reed's rude, selfish, and attention-seeking behavior mixed with the emotional trauma of his incredibly complicated home life has caused his relationship with his three childhood friends to go completely downhill throughout the years... especially with his former best friend who he now has a huge crush on, Benjamin Washington. After Benjamin (who nowadays appears to absolutely despise Mark,) introduces his new boyfriend Ash Powyrs into their friend group, Mark is overcome with jealousy at the idea that he is now being replaced. In some sense, he is in fact being replaced, at least in Benjamin's eyes. In an attempt to make things better between Mark and Benjamin and the whole group as a whole, Ash, along with the four tries his best to fix their broken relationship. Unfortunately for Mark, Benjamin seems too caught up with all the ways he has been wronged to even consider giving in. Deep down though, he does wish things would go back to the way they were when they all were kids just like Mark does. As both Mark and Benjamin battle with each of their own different personal struggles and emotional challenges, they always unfortunately seem to fail to correctly communicate their feelings with one another, even if the solution to their problems are always incredibly clear to those around them. Each time Benjamin feels wronged by Mark, Mark gets one step closer to losing his friends for good... And unluckily for him, it looks like his time with them is almost up, as he can't seem to stop himself from acting the way he does.
