The Maharajah's Children was Inspired by the True Story of the Noble Maharajah Jam Saheb of Jam Nagar who rescued thousands of Polish refugee children from Russian Gulag camps during World War -2 and brought them to his palace grounds and also the story of Josephina, a Polish deportee and her six-year-old son, who escape the Russian Gulag camps and try to survive the tough escape adventure and reach the maharajah and camp at his palace in India.—imtiaz barolia
