Synopsis

Dale Dugay, an upwardly mobile IRS agent has nightmares involving his execution and bloody bowel movements. In real life he suffers an obnoxious house-guest and an inability to assert himself, escaping into fantasy football stats and chi harnessing breathing techniques. Once he is offered an assignment in the field, auditing some backwoods bumpkins and located a missing IRS agent, he sees the chance to take control of his stifled existence.

Wandering farther and farther into the boonies he is soon captured by a cavalcade of maniacal psychotics and brought to their leader, McBean. He soon discovers that the last IRS agent sent on this task has himself gone native, referring to himself as 'The Kid.' He is submitted to humiliation and pit fits before being sentenced to death.

'The Kid' sympathizes and assists Dale in his escape, and for this act he is decapitated. The gaggle of sadistic madmen hunt Dale as 'The Kid's' severed head offers advice and sage-like wisdom. Dale must transform into a killer himself to stave off the tide of bog-men.

With the aid of a magical sword bequeathed unto him by a mysterious woman, Dale frees 'The Kid's' soul from torment and enacts his final, bloody retribution. McBean enlists the aid of a soothsaying Druid and attempts to auger his fate. Ultimately Dale Dugay and McBean confront one another in a muddy, bloody fight to the finish.

Dale vanquishes his foe, and with that last victory, so goes his sanity. Leaving a rabid animal eager to slake it's thirst for blood.
