A bad scientist and his wife, a mad scientist, a skeleton, and two aliens and their escaped pet are all searching for the elusive element "atmospherium".
A dedicated scientist, aided by his clueless wife, rolls up his shirt sleeves and tries to save the world from a radioactive monster, curious space aliens, an evil scientist, and a crabby skeleton in this send-up of the best of the B movies of the 1950s.—Laurie Trotta
Three, widely-differing parties are looking for the rare, radioactive element called "atmospherium". Dr. Paul Armstrong believes that a recent meteor containing it fell in the nearby hills. It will help advance science greatly to have it for study. His wife Betty is with him. Dr. Roger Fleming needs the element to reanimate the Lost Skeleton of Cadavra that he has located in a nearby cave. Finally, Kro-Bar and Lattis, a pair of aliens from the planet Marva, need the substance to repair their spacecraft's power train. They are stranded on Earth until they can locate some. The aliens also had a mutant aboard who seems to have escaped while they were assessing their repair needs. Paul finds the atmospherium meteor, but can't keep it in his control. For a while, Kro-bar and Lattis use a transforming device to present themselves in Earth clothing so that they can try to get the needed repair element. Roger creates a companion, Anamala, to disguise his real goal of stealing the meteor. He succeeds in getting it away, placing it in the chest cavity of the skeleton. The skeleton sits up and declares that he wishes the female alien to be his new bride. The Skeleton, Roger and Anamala head for the spacecraft to arrange for the ceremony. Paul and Betty sneak up on the proceedings whereupon Paul dreams up a plan to stop this madness. He has Betty lure the wandering mutant to the wedding site. There, the mutant carries off the skeleton and throws it off a cliff.—Garon Smith
